Iran’s President Blames West for Georgia War
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at the UN General Assembly that NATO’s “provocations” are to blame for the August war in Georgia.
“The lives, properties and rights of the people of Georgia, South Ossetia and Abkhazia are victims of the tendencies and provocations of NATO and certain western powers and the underhanded actions of the Zionists,” President Ahmadinejad said.
