New Vice-Speaker Elected

MP Levan Vepkhvadze of the Christian-Democratic Party was elected as a vice-speaker of Parliament with 101 votes to one on July 5.
Other vice-speakers elected by Parliament earlier are MP Gigi Tsereteli, MP Pridon Todua and MP Rusudan Kervalishvili from the ruling party. MP Mikheil Machavariani also from the ruling party was elected as the first vice-speaker.
Opposition lawmakers are still entitled to take two more vice-speaker positions.
