GEL Appreciates Further

The Georgian Lari (GEL) appreciated again against the US dollar and was trading at $1.71 as of September 7 ? the highest level of the GEL against the USD for the last five years.

The Georgian currency also rose against the Euro, the exchange rate appreciated from 2.7 Laris per Euro to the current 2.06 since January this year.
