OSCE Chairman Meets Saakashvili

OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Belgian Foreign Minister Karel De Gucht arrived on Monday in Tbilisi to negotiate with the Georgian authorities about the possible release of four Russian military officers.

News broke on October 2 that Georgia plans to hand over the four officers, who have been charged with espionage, to the OSCE.

Talks between Karel De Gucht and President Saakashvili have already begun at the Georgian President?s residence in Tbilisi. A news conference is scheduled after the talks.
