Saakashvili to Visit Kodori

President Saakashvili is expected to visit upper Kodori Gorge in breakaway Abkhazia sometime in late September, according to the President?s press office.

Saakashvili is reportedly making the trip to get acquainted with ongoing infrastructure rehabilitation projects in the area.

The Georgian central authorities boosted their presence in the gorge after cracking down local warlords in July.
