Reports: Zourabichvili’s Party Gripped by Infighting
Ex-Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili opposition party Georgia’s Way is reportedly gripped by infighting less than three weeks ahead of the local self-governance elections, reports say on September 13.
Mamuka Chikovani, Chief of the Georgia’s Way regional headquarters in Tsageri, told Rustavi 2 television that he and other activists quit the party because they are dissatisfied with Zourabichvili’s management style.
Zourabichvili declined to comment on the reports. “I will make a statement when I present my party-list,” she told Civil Georgia.
