Russian Communist MP Visits Sokhumi

Visiting Russian parliamentarian from the Communist Party Oleg Kulikov told Abkhaz leader Sergey Bagapsh in Sokhumi that the Abkhaz authorities ?can always count on the support? of the Communist faction in the State Duma, lower house of the Parliament, Apsnipress reported on August 25.

?We are grateful for the support which the Russian State Duma Council and the Communist faction is providing to [the Abkhaz] Republic,? Sergey Bagapsh, president of the breakaway region, said.
