Saakashvili Calls on Georgians for Unification

President Saakashvili called on Georgian citizens to unify in the confrontation against the ?great forces? that are threatening Georgia.

?Great forces are fighting against us. Therefore, the Georgians should unite; each Georgian should spare no efforts in order to defeat those who are against us… We all should build and unite our country together,? Mikheil Saakashvili said while visiting the Shida Kartli region on August 12.

President Saakashvili also visited the military hospital currently under construction in the town of Gori. The hospital will have 250 beds, and is to serve both soldiers and civilians. Construction will be completed in the near future.
