IMF Mission Visits Georgia
An IMF team will be in Georgia from August 10-19 to assess recent economic developments and progress under IMF-supported economic reform, the IMF Tbilisi office said.
During its visit the IMF team will likely focus on inflation-related issues. The National Bank of Georgian reported in early July that the inflation rate has reached 10%. One of the government’s major targets was to not let the inflation rate reach two digit figures.
