S.Ossetia Pledges Assistance to Abkhazia in Case of Hostilities

South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity, who is currently visiting Moscow, said at a news conference on July 31 that Tskhinvali will provide assistance to Abkhazia in case of ?aggression from Georgia,? Interfax news agency reported.

?If the Abkhaz side has no other choice is forced to defend its own territory, we will render both military and humanitarian assistance to our brotherly republic,? Eduard Kokoity said.
