Courts Turn Down Most of Election Complaints
A total of 51 complaints were filed to the courts countrywide regarding the January 5 presidential elections and almost all of them were demanding invalidation of certain precinct results.
Nino Kadagidze, spokesperson of the Supreme Court, said in the evening on January 12 that out of 51 complaints, 10 were still under consideration by the courts. The courts have turned down 36 complaints; but also invalidated results of four precincts: number 1 in Zestaponi district; number 3 in Gori district; number 2 in Kharagauli district and number 1 in Bolnisi district.
