‘I will Definitely Win’ – Candidate Natelashvili

Presidential candidate and Labor Party leader Shalva Natelashvili said late on January 4 that he would “definitely win” in Saturday’s presidential polls.

“There is a jubilant mood because we are going to win tomorrow… I have seen from my campaign that everything will be over in the first round with my victory,” Natelashvili said on the Georgian Public Broadcaster’s late-night political talk show, Argument. “A Saakashvili victory is impossible.”

Natelashvili also said that international observers were “objectively assessing developments.” “You have seen the [OSCE/ODIHR] interim report, which objectively reflects the situation and I hope the final findings will be in line with this interim report,” he said.
