Georgian Foreign Minister Visits Spain

Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili left for Spain to participate in the 15th meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers in Madrid on November 29-30. 


In his address to the OSCE ministerial council  Bezhuashvili will focus on recent developments in Georgia, the forthcoming presidential elections planned for January 5, the South Ossetian and Abkhaz conflicts and the Georgian government’s peace initiatives for the resolution of these conflicts. 


On the sideline of the OSCE Ministerial Council Bezhuashvili will hold talks with OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, U.S. Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and other officials.
