Georgia Says Three Russian Aircrafts Violated Airspace

Three Russian aircrafts, SU-24 (Fencer), violated Georgia?s airspace on November 2, Irakli Gogava, Georgia?s chief of staff of the armed forces, told Rustavi 2 TV.

He said the Russian aircrafts flew into the Georgian airspace over Stepantsminda (formerly Kazbegi) district in the northern mountainous region.

Russian air force spokesman, Alexander Drobishevsky, however, told RIA Novosti news agency that the allegation was groundless.
