Latvian Defense Minister to Visit Georgia

Latvian Defense Minister Atis Slakteris will start a four-day visit to Georgia on October 17, the Georgian Defense Ministry reported.


During the visit the Latvian defense minister will hold talks with his Georgian counterpart, Davit Kezerashvili, deputy chairman of Parliament?s defense and security committee Nika Rurua and head of the Adjarian government Levan Varshalomidze.
 
The Latvian delegation will also visit the 2nd Infantry Brigade in the western Georgian town of Senaki.
