Tbilisi Hosts Georgian-American Investment Conference

An international conference – Choosing Georgia – ,which was organized by the America-Georgia Business Council, was held in Tbilisi on September 12.
  
Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli, Economy Minister Giorgi Arveladze and U.S. Ambassador to Georgia John Tefft attended the event.

?As a result of such meetings we have attracted a lot of American investment to Georgia,? PM Nogaideli said. ?It is important that the conference is also attended by people, who are in Georgia for the first time and who plan to invest money here.?

PM Nogaideli said that the United States was the second largest investor last year.
