British Ambassador Visits Sokhumi

Denis Keefe, the British ambassador to Georgia, arrived in breakaway Abkhazia on September 11 to hold talks with the secessionist authorities.

The ambassador has already had talks on the current situation in the Abkhaz conflict zone with Abkhaz Prime Minister Alexander Ankvab, Foreign Minister Sergey Shamba, Vice-President Raul Khajimba and Security Council Chief Stanislav Laboba, the Abkhaz leader?s web site reported.
