Deputy Minister Antadze to Become Ambassador to Ukraine
Merab Antadze, the deputy foreign minister, will be appointed as Georgian ambassador to Ukraine, replacing Grigol Katamadze, whose term of service has already expired, Kote Gabashvili, the chairman of the parliamentary committee for foreign affairs, said on September 11.
He said that Parliament would discuss the appointment next week.
Before becoming the deputy foreign minister in July, Antadze served as the state minister for conflict resolution issues for a year.
