Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Visits Georgia

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov is paying a working visit to Batumi, in Adjara, on August 26-30, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.

The Georgian foreign minister, Gela Bezhuashvili, who is hosting his Azerbaijani counterpart in Batumi, told the RFE/RL Georgian service, the visit aimed at further boosting bilateral ties and also it was a good chance to let the Azerbaijani side get acquainted with tourism and investment opportunities on the Georgia?s Black Sea coast.
