South Ossetian Alternative Leader to Address NATO Seminar
Tbilisi-loyal, alternative leader of South Ossetia Dimitri Sanakoev will address the NATO Parliamentary Assembly?s 65th Rose-Roth seminar in Tbilisi on April 20 over the current situation in the South Ossetian conflict zone.
?My invitation to the seminar is a particular breakthrough in the previously existing information vacuum. I think that South Ossetian issues, generally, should be discussed at an international level,? Sanakoev told reporters before the seminar.
He said he would focus on different approaches and views regarding resolution of the conflict.
The three-day seminar, which began on April 19, will discuss relations between the South Caucasus and the European Union and NATO, as well as the region?s security challenges, most notably the unresolved conflicts in Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
