President’s New Parliamentary Secretary Appointed

Chairman of the Georgian National Regulatory Commission for Communications (GNRCC) Dimitri Kitoshvili was appointed as the President’s Parliamentary Secretary.


This position has been vacant since the president’s former Parliamentary Secretary Pavle Kublashvili was elected MP in October 2005.


Previously, Dimitri Kitoshvili held senior positions at the Central Election Commission (CEC). Since June 2004 he has been chairman of the GNRCC.  


There have been unconfirmed reports that the GNRCC may be abolished.
