CDC Parliamentary Conference Opens in Tbilisi
The two-day conference ?Democracy Development: Enhancing the Role of the Parliamentary Diplomacy? will open in Tbilisi on November 30 in the frames of the regional alliance Community of Democratic Choice (CDC).
The presidents of Ukraine, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Moldova, Slovenia and Macedonia announced the formation of the Community of Democratic Choice at a forum in the Ukrainian capital Kiev last December.
Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze will open the conference. Polish Senate Speaker Bogdan Borusewicz and Lithuanian Parliament Speaker Victoras Muntianas will also address the conference.
