Russia Rotates Peacekeepers in Abkhazia

On November 27 Russia began a planned rotation of its troops stationed in the Gali district of breakaway Abkhazia under the aegis of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Apsnypress news agency reported.

558 servicemen from the 131st  motorized infantry brigade will be replaced a 527-strong unit from the same brigade.
