Chief of President’s Administration to Replace Okruashvili

Giorgi Arveladze, chief of the President’s Administration, will become the new Economy Minister, replacing Irakli Okruashvili, Secretary of the National Security Council Kote Kemularia said on November 20.


“Arveladze is very experienced person, a political figure,” Kemularia told reporters.


Irakli Okruashvili filed his resignation on November 17 just a week after being appointed as Economic Minister.


President Saakashvili will make an official statement about changes in the cabinet on November 20.
