EU-Georgia Action Plan Signed in Brussels
Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili and his counterpart from Finland, which currently holds the EU presidency, Erkki Tuomioja signed the recommendations on the implementation of the EU-Georgia Action Plan in the framework of the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP), the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported
The signing ceremony was held on the sideline of a session of the EU-Georgia Cooperation Council, which was held in Brussels on November 14.
The European side referred to ENP Action Plan as a cornerstone of future cooperation between the sides and expressed readiness to assist Georgia in both the successful implementation of the Action Plan and the resolution of political and economic problems in the country, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
