North Ossetian Leader Hails S.Ossetia Polls

The head of Russia?s North Ossetian Republic Teimuraz Mamsurov told Interfax news agency on November 13 that the independence referendum and presidential polls in South Ossetia were ?a victory of democracy? and ?a confirmation of the historic choice? of the Ossetian people to pursue independence.

Mamsurov also said, according to Interfax, that he hopes the international community will recognize South Ossetia.
