Russia Denies Sending Military Hardware to S.Ossetia

The Russian Defense Ministry denied reports on sending heavy armament to breakaway South Ossetia, Interfax news agency reported on July 14.
 
?The Georgian side?s allegation over sending of military hardware to South Ossetia is not true. The issue of sending military hardware or personnel to South Ossetia is not even discussed,? Russian Defense Ministry?s spokesman Viacheslav Sedov said.
 
Givi Targamadze, an influential parliamentarian who chairs committee for defense and security, said on July 14 that Russia has sent total of 20 infantry fighting vehicles and trucks of URAL type to breakaway South Ossetia.
