Russia Pulls Out Artillery Systems from Akhalkalaki Base
Trainload of fifteen self-propelled howitzers 2F3, belonging to the Russian military base in Akhalkalaki, departed on July 11 from Tsalka and headed towards Russia via Azerbaijan, the Georgian Ministry of Defense reported.
According to the Russo-Georgian agreement on the pullout of the bases, the Akhalkalaki military base should be completely vacated before December 31, 2007.
