Georgian Foreign Minister Visits Strasbourg

Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili left for Strasbourg, France on Thursday to participate in a Session of the Committee of Ministers from the Council of Europe member states on May 18-19.

Russian media sources have reported that Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov, who will also be in Strasbourg, may meet with his Georgian counterpart.

Prior to this visit to Strasbourg, the Georgian Foreign Minister was in Brussels where he held talks over Georgia’s integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
