Georgian, Ukrainian Foreign Ministers Discuss Cooperation
Visiting Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili held talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Boris Tarasyuk in Kiev on April 4 to discuss bilateral cooperation, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
The sides focused on the banning of export of Georgian wine by the Russian side and stressed the need to expand the Georgian wine market in Ukraine.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the two Ministers also discussed strategic cooperation between Georgia and Ukraine in the fields of EU and NATO integration and energy security.
The Georgian and Ukrainian Foreign Ministers reviewed and outlined the prospects of cooperation within the frames of GUAM and the Community of Democratic Choice.
