Abkhazia Reports Increase in Foreign Trade
Breakaway Abkhazia’s foreign trade turnover has increased by USD 49 million, to USD 118 million in 2005, Apsnipress news agency reported on February 9, quoting data from the unrecognized republic’s customs committee.
Russia, Turkey and Romania were among the de facto republic’s key trade partners, according to this report.
A share of import in total commodity turnover totaled 77% and export – 23%.
