UN-led Georgian-Abkhaz Talks Planned in Geneva

The UN-sponsored Georgian-Abkhaz talks will be held in Geneva on February 2-3 to discuss security issues in breakaway Abkhazia.

Giorgi Khaindrava, Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues and Abkhaz de facto Foreign Minister Sergey Shamba will participate in the talks.

The negotiations will also be attended by representatives of the UN Secretary General’s Group of Friends on Georgia, including Germany, France, Great Britain, Russia and the United States.
