Saakashvili, Rice Discuss Georgia Energy Security

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice discussed Georgia’s energy security issues during a phone conversation late on Sunday, the Georgian President’s press office reported on January 30.

“Secretary of State Rice said the U.S. is ready to provide assistance in ensuring the energy security of Georgia,” the Georgian President’s press office reported.
