Ukraine Donates Fuel to Georgia

The Ukrainian government has decided to provide humanitarian aid to Georgia, amid the current energy crisis, the Ukrainian cabinet’s press office reported on January 26.

“In accordance with the [Ukrainian] President’s decree ‘on providing humanitarian aid to Georgia,’ the Cabinet of Ministers has decided to allocate funds from the reserve fund of the state budget to purchase diesel fuel from Azerbaijan, which will be sent to Georgia as humanitarian aid,” the statement by the Ukrainian government reads.
