Russia Confirms Power Line was Blown-up
Russian investigators have found explosives at the site where a damaged tower of the ‘Kavkasioni’ high-voltage power line is located, in Russia?s Karachaevo-Cherkessia, the Interfax news agency reported. The electricity supply was cut to Georgia when this power-line was damaged by explosives.
?The type of explosives has not yet been identified,? Azret-Ali Jukaev, acting chief prosecutor of Karachaevo-Cherkessia, said.
The local prosecutor?s office has launched a criminal case into the explosion, citing that that incident is an acto of ?terrorism.?
