Russian Peacekeeper Dies of Gunshot Wound in Abkhazia

A Russian peacekeeper was mortally wounded by another Russian peacekeeper in the Abkhaz conflict zone on January 15. Roman Lyubentsev was shot by Sergey Zinchenko in the Abkhaz conflict and later died from a gunshot would to his head, Regnum news agency reported.

The incident is under investigation but preliminary reports say that it was an accident.
