Russian MFA: Tbilisi Against Treaty on Non-Resumption of Hostilities in S.Ossetia
In an information note issued on December 28 the Russian Foreign Ministry said that during the South Ossetian talks in frames of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) in Moscow, the Georgian side has rejected to develop a joint declaration on non-resumption of hostilities and security guarantees.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also said that the Georgian side has changed its initial position and rejected to set up a joint working group in frames of the JCC to develop a peaceful program for the South Ossetian conflict, as it was proposed by South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity on December 12.
