MoD Sets up Commission in Charge of Arms Control

The Georgian Ministry of Defense has set up a commission which will be in charge of arms control, export, import and transit of arms.

So far these functions were under the competence of the National Security Council.

The new commission consists of eight members and all of them are the senior officials of the Defence Ministry. Commission will meet once every three months.
