Putin: Constructive Dialogue to Help Improve Relations
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed hope that the Russian-Georgian relationship would improve due to a constructive dialogue between the two countries.
?I am sure that a constructive dialogue over entire spectrum of Russian-Georgian cooperation will promote the improvement of relations between Russia and Georgia and serve the interests of the two peoples, as well as strengthen peace and stability in the Caucasus,? Putin said in a letter of congratulations sent to Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who turned 38 on December 21.
