Two Killed in South Ossetia Blast
Two road workers were killed on December 10 after their vehicle stroke a mine near the Ossetian village of Zari, north-west of South Ossetian capital Tskhinvali, the Russian news agency Regnum reported citing the unrecognized republic?s Interior Ministry.
Meanwhile, Georgian media sources reported on December 11 that ?several? South Ossetian militiamen were injured in a shootout with a local paramilitary group in Tskhinvali. The South Ossetian side has not yet commented on this latter report.
