Georgian Ship Sinks off North Coast of Italy

A Georgian cargo ship carrying 14,000 liters of diesel fuel sank after it crashed onto rocks near the Italian port of La Spezia on December 3, EuroNews and Italian AGI news agency reported.

All 13 crew members survived, but a pollution alert has been announced by the local Italian authorities in an attempt to contain the fuel spill.
