Georgian PM to Discuss S.Ossetia in Moscow
Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli left Thursday for Russian capital Moscow to participate in the Summit of Heads of Governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on November 24-25.
He said in an interview with Russian news agency RIA Novosti on November 23 that he will focus on the South Ossetian conflict resolution issues during his talks with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Fradkov and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, which will be held on the sideline of the summit.
?The major issues, which I will put forth in talks with my colleagues in Moscow is how seriously we can move forward on the way of conflict resolution, and how serious is Russia?s position in respect of support of Georgia?s territorial integrity.
He said that he plans to discuss Tbilisi?s plan of action in respect of South Ossetian conflict during talks with the Russian leadership.
?Russian military experts are training people there [in South Ossetia]. We know not only their number, but also where they are located? It is clear that military hardware was brought to South Ossetian from Russia. I do not think some one will know start to claim that suddenly a huge military enterprise was set up in Tskhinvali? Military hardware was brought there from Russia and it should return back to Russia. I want to hear an answer from the Russian top-level officials on the question: when this will happen?? PM Nogaideli said.
