IMF Mission Visits Georgia

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission, which arrived in Georgia on October 19, will assess Georgia?s performance under the Poverty Reduction and Economic Growth Program.
 
?The results of the assessment will be satisfactory. The National Bank of Georgia has fulfilled all the parameters envisaged by the program,? President of the National Bank of Georgia told reporters on October 22.
 
The IMF’s Executive Board approved a three-year arrangement for Georgia last June.  The total sum of this arrangement will total close to USD 150.3 million.
