Latvian President Visits Georgia

President of Latvia Vaira Vike-Freiberga will arrive in Georgia on a three-day official visit on October 4.

The Latvian President will hold talks with her Georgian counterpart Mikheil Saakashvili, Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze and other officials.

This is the second visit to Georgia by the Latvian President in 2005. On May 24-26 Vaira Vike-Freiberga visited Tbilisi and attended the military parade of the Georgian troops, which marked the country?s Independence Day.
