Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, UN Envoy Discuss Abkhazia

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Valery Loshchinin met with UN Secretary General?s Special Representative to Georgia Heidi Tagliavini in Moscow on September 23, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

Resolution of the Abkhaz conflict ?through the existing mechanism of negotiations? was discussed during the meeting, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
