Russian, Abkhaz Experts Conclude Assessment of Railway

A group of Russian and Abkhaz experts discussed the results of an assessment of the current condition of the railway in breakaway Abkhazia during talks with facto Vice-Premier of unrecognized republic Leonid Lakerbaia on September 3, the Abkhaz news agency Apsnypress reported.
 
The joint group of experts prepared a document reflecting the results of the assessment of the nearly 200 kilometer-long railway in the breakaway region, according to Apsnypress. No details from this document were reported.
 
Georgian experts did not participate in the assessment works, as the Abkhaz side refused to grant entry to several Georgian experts who were internally displaced persons from Abkhazia.
