School of Public Administration to Train Ethnic Minorities

A School of Public Administration named in honor of late Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania will start functioning in September, Education Minister Kakha Lomaia said on August 9.

The school, which is based in Georgia?s second largest city, Kutaisi, will mainly focus on training representatives of the ethnic minorities, as well as residents of Georgia’s mountainous regions.

?A total of 300 Azerbaijanis, Armenians and Ossetians will be able to enroll in the school and after going through the courses, they will be able to be employed in the local self-governance bodies,? Kakha Lomaia said at a news conference.
