Georgian Energy Minister Visits Kazakhstan
Georgian Energy Minister Nika Gilauri and President of the Georgian International Gas Corporation Davit Ingorokva left for Kazakhstan on July 31 to negotiate with Kazakh authorities over the possible supply of gas to Georgia.
According to the Georgian Energy Ministry this visit to Kazakhstan is part of the Georgian government’s attempt to diversify its gas supply. Currently Russia is the chief supplier of natural gas to Georgia.
