Ivanov: Claims on Russian Trail in Terrorism “Depressingly Stupid”

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Ivanov called “depressingly stupid” media reports on the possible participation of Russian military intelligence in terrorist acts abroad, including the one in Gori, Georgia this February 1.

Talking to Russian journalists in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskii, Ivanov said that “Russian military intelligence, in the last year, if we trust the reports of foreign media, has been cruising the expanses of Ukraine during elections and has worked in Iraq. Now there are reports from Georgia. All of these statements are depressingly stupid.”
