Grenade Suspect Charged with Terrorism

Vladimer Arutunian who is suspected of tossing a hand-grenade during the U.S. President Bush?s speech in Tbilisi was charged with terrorism on July 26.


Initially, criminal charges were brought against Arutunian, who was captured after fatal clash with police on July 20, for premeditated murder in the killing a security official.


Arutunian was sentenced to three-month pre-trial custody on July 23.
